National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has reached Moscow amidst increasing tension with the US over Russia buying oil from Russia. The NSA will meet Russia’s President Putin and other big officials of Russia. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will also go to Russia this month. Ajit Doval’s visit to Moscow has become important because US President Donald Trump is repeatedly targeting India due to oil and weapons from Russia.

Trump has threatened to impose additional tariffs and penalty on India for buying oil from Russia. Trump has threatened to increase the tariff over India in the next 24 hours. Trump is angry about why India is buying oil from Russia even after his refusal. In a conversation with a news channel, Trump said that India is constantly buying oil from Russia and thus providing help to the War Machine of Russia in Sukrain. At the same time, Trump alleged that India is earning huge profits by selling it in the open market after purchasing Russia oil. That is why he will increase the tariff on India.

India’s Foreign Ministry has issued a statement saying that the attacks that the US and European are carrying out to buy oil from Russia are wrong. The Ministry of External Affairs said that after the Ukraine war broke out, the US had asked India to buy oil from Russia, so that the international oil market would remain stable. India has said that European countries are also trading billions of dollars from Russia, so it is not right to target India only.

The Ministry of External Affairs said that India and Russia’s relations are not limited to oil and weapons only, between manure to chemicals to chemicals, iron and steel, machinery and mining products, there is trade in many sectors. The Ministry of External Affairs said that America itself is buying goods from Russia for its nuclear industry, manure and chemicals. The Ministry of External Affairs said that just as Europe and America are running according to their national interests, similarly India will decide without any pressure of someone in view of its national interest.

Trump is threatening India on buying Russia oil, but Nikki Haley, who was a Republican candidate in the presidential election in the US, asked Trump that why did Trump give 90 days to the one who buys the most oil from Russia and Iran? Then Nikki Haley advised Trump not to give up China, and do not spoil relations with a strong friend country like India.

But Trump is a paved trader. Neither relationships nor friendship have any importance for them. Elon Musk is the biggest example of this. Musk helped Trump in every way during the election- with money, also from the media, and in Campaign, but a little bit, Trump threatened to send him back to South Africa. When the talk of Musk was bad, Trump threatened to ruin Tesla by taxing tax.

This is the way of trump. Those who do not do business according to them, will not reduce the tariff, they will accuse him, threaten him, but if someone is adamant on their point, then the trump compromises. This is the identity of a trader.

What is the cause of destruction in Uttarakhand?

Heartbroken pictures came from Uttarakhand. Clouds erupted in Dharali near Uttarkashi, shed the entire village. Where there were hotels, residential houses, markets, there were debris all around after thirty seconds, rocks and mud flowed with water. How many hotels were swept away, there is no idea, how many people died. The administration confirmed the death of ten people. More than 190 people have been rescued. Dozens are missing. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has reached Dharali. People are being transported to safe places by Chinook Holikopter of Indian Air Force. ITBP, NDRF, BRO and army personnel are engaged in relief work. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is sitting in Delhi and monitoring the entire relief work.

The administration says that there is debris from ten to twenty feet. It will take three to four days to remove it. When death in Dharali village near Hershil killed the claw, people had no idea of such a big accident. Clouds erupted in the height area, followed by a large amount of debris and water from the mountain into the Kheerganga River. This increased the water level of the river to thirty feet in a few seconds. Since the Dharali village is on the banks of the river, the river took a ruckus of havoc in the entire village in a few seconds.

As soon as people got voices of rocks falling, people sitting in hotels tried to escape. Those who were in the market, they ran their car at full speed but no effort worked. In the blink of an eye, the people running on the streets were lost in the flood of water and mud.

Pictures of the devastation in Harshil are proof that no one can do anything in front of the strength of nature. In Dharli, the entire area in only 30 seconds turned into a crematorium. Where the tourists used to have the initiative every day, the shouts of the devotees used to echo, there is silence of death today. But this incident forced scientists to think again that why the incidents of sudden cloudburst in Himalayan Region have increased?

This time the clouds erupted repeatedly in areas like Shimla, Manali, Kullu and Mandi of Himachal Pradesh. In the last five years, the incidents of cloudburst occurred in the month of July this year. That is why Last week, Home Minister Amit Shah constituted a committee of Geologists of four Institutes. This committee will try to understand the reason for repeated cloudbursts in Himalayan Region and will report to the government within a week, but this committee could give report, before that, there was a disaster in Uttarakhand.

Human beings are also mistaken in this. Last time, when the cloud was cracked in Kedarnath in Uttarakhand in 2013, there was a sudden flood, houses and hotels were swept away like cards, it was said that now it would not allow construction on the banks of the rivers but the construction continued. On the other hand there is also the effect of Global Warming. Most of the incidents of cloudburst have occurred in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Although the impact of climate changes is throughout the Himalayas, Glacier is melting rapidly, due to which the scope of Glacier Lakes is increasing.

The Central Water Commission report is a warning. It identified 67 such lakes, whose surface area has seen an increase of more than 40%. It has the most impact in Uttarakhand, Himachal, Ladakh, Sikkim and Arunachal. These lakes are at risk of Glacier Lake Outburst Flood. There is a similar threat in cross -border across Bhutan, Nepal and China. That is why all these countries will have to form a strategy to deal with this havoc of nature. (Rajat Sharma)
