‘Coolie’ and ‘War 2’ boom
Two big films have been released on 14 August 2025. One is Rajinikanth’s much awaited Tamil film ‘Kuli’ and the other is Bollywood’s Big Budget Action thriller ‘War 2’, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR in lead roles. ‘Kuli’ is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraja and it is produced by Sun Pictures. The music is of Anirudh Ravichandar and the film consists of many strong faces like Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Saubin Shaheer, Satyaraj and Upendra along with Rajinikanth. The film has received the ‘A’ certificate and its advance booking was sold in a few hours as soon as the night of August 8 began. Due to the Independence Day holidays, almost all the shows of the first four days are houseful. Outside theaters, Rajinikanth fans’ craze is as if there is a festival, drums, flowers, garlands, dance and fireworks in front of the cutouts.
