Dadasaheb Phalke, who is called the father of Indian cinema, has been discussed for a long time about the biopic. The film is scheduled to be made with famous director Rajkumar Hirani superstar Aamir Khan. This has been confirmed by Chandrashekhar Pusalkar, grandson of Dadasaheb Phalke.

Shooting of Dadasaheb Phalke’s biopic film is going to start from October 2025. Aamir Khan, the stars will start preparing their character soon after the release of the ground. Rajkumar Hirani, Abhijat Joshi and two other writers Hindukush Bhardwaj and Invention Bhardwaj have been working on this script for the last four years.

Chandrashekhar Sri Krishna Pusalkar, grandson of Dadasaheb Phalke, has fully supported the project and shared many special things and events related to Dadasaheb Phalke’s life. Apart from this, the film is the new project of Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan’s pair, which has given cltc classics and biggest hit films like ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’.

On the other hand, SS Rajamouli has also announced a long time to make a film on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke. Junior NTR is going to play the role of Dada Saheb Phalke in SS Rajamouli’s film. Rajamouli announced the film in 2023 itself. His film is named ‘Made in India’.

According to sources, recently SS Rajamouli, SS Karthikeya and Varun Gupta recited the script to Junior NTR, who immediately gave their approval for the film. He was greatly impressed by Dadasaheb Phalke’s unknown stories. The story is based on the birth and development of Indian cinema, and its nuances shocked the junior NTR.
