There is a fierce fierce consecration (SIR) of the voter list started before the assembly elections in Bihar. Opposition parties are protesting against this from Bihar to Delhi. However, Rakesh Tikait, spokesperson of the Indian Farmers Union (Bhakiyu), has supported the SIR process of the Election Commission. Tikait has said that those who are from outside through this process will have problems.

What did Rakesh Tikait say?

Rakesh Tikait, spokesperson of the Indian Farmers Union, gave a statement on the sidelines of a private program and supported the special intensive revision (SIR). He told the media- “Those who are from outside will have a problem, who are from there (Bihar), they will not have any problem.”

What is the purpose of Sir?

Before the assembly elections in Bihar, the Election Commission had issued instructions to conduct special intensive revision (SIR) of voter lists in Bihar on 24 June. According to the information given by the Election Commission, the purpose of this process is to ensure that the names of all eligible citizens are included in the voter list so that they can exercise their franchise.

Who is the number one Chief Minister?

Rakesh Tikait has described BSP chief Mayawati as the number one Chief Minister for the farmers. He said- “Mayawati was a ‘number one Chief Minister’ for the farmers. She did better work for sugarcane farmers. Yogi Adityanath ji should also become number one by doing better work for farmers.”
