Dehri on son, Maharashtra Police arrested a rape accused with the help of Rohtas District Police on Tuesday and took him with them.
Sub Inspector Pramod Kadru and constable Sangram B Raut of Maharashtra Police Special Team arrested the accused in the case, Dev Kumar (22) from his house in East Mohan Bigha of the district.
Police said that the arrested accused used to work in a private factory there. He called a 12-year-old minor, a former acquaintance of Sasaram, there and raped her. The FIR regarding the incident was registered on September 11, 2023.
At the same time, according to the official of Maharashtra Police team, Mera Bhayander Police Commissioner of Maharashtra had formed a team to arrest the accused. The police got the arrested accused medically examined in the subdivision hospital. As per the instructions of the Sub-Divisional Court, she took the accused with her and left.
