Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra has started in Puri. First of all, the chariot of Lord Balabhadra was drawn by the devotees. The chariot has just stopped after pulling some distance. The chariot of Goddess Subhadra and Lord Jagannath was drawn for some distance. Both these chariots are standing near the temple. The three chariots in Ahmedabad have moved from Dariyapur Tent Outpost towards Shahpur.
After the morning Mangal Aarti and Vidhi Vidhan Puja, Lord Jagannath has been enthroned on Nandi Ghosh Rath, Goddess Subhadra and Balabhadra on Taldhwaj Rath.
The chariot was duly worshiped and enjoyed by God. At 3 pm, he started the Rath Yatra by putting Buhara with a gold broom in front of Gajapati Divya Singh Dev Rath of Puri royal family.
Lord Jagannath from the chariot will go to the Gundicha temple with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra about 3 km away. This is considered to be her aunt’s home.
On the other hand, Rath Yatras have been taken out in many cities of the country including Ahmedabad. Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra was taken out in Ahmedabad. Home Minister Amit Shah performed Mangal Aarti at 4 am. After this, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel started the Rath Yatra by performing Pahind Vidhi. God will return to the temple at around 8:30 pm.
In Ahmedabad, an elephant became uncontrollable and ran for 100 meters at 10 am on Friday in the chariot journey of Lord Jagannath. After this, there was a stampede in the Rath Yatra. People were seen running here and there. The uncontrollable elephant was leading the group of 17 elephants. Hardly controlled. One person has been injured in this accident.
