India vs england 5th Test: Indian all -rounder Ravindra Jadeja (Ravindra Jadeja) scored a half -century while batting brilliantly in the second innings of the fifth and last Test match being played against England at The Oval Stadium. Jadeja scored 53 runs in 77 balls, hitting 5 fours.

This is Jadeja’s sixth fifty plus score in the current Test series and with this he also completed his 500 runs in the series. He scored 516 runs in five Tests at an average of 86.00. He made several special records with a brilliant half -century in the second innings.

The first Indian to do so

This has happened for the first time in 92 years of Test history in England when a player has scored six fifty plus in a Test series. Earlier in 1979, Sunil Gavaskar scored five plus in a Test series in England by Virat Kohli in 2018 and Rishabh Pant in 2025. Please tell that Pant is not part of the fifth Test match due to injury.

The first foreigner to do so in England

Jadeja has become the first foreign player to score ten fifty plus, batting number 6 or below in Test cricket on England soil. In this list, he left behind Gary Sobers, who scored nine fifty plus in England.

VVS Laxman beaten

In a Test series, VVS has surpassed Laxman in terms of scoring the most fifty plus scores for India. Earlier in 2002, Laxman scored five fifty plus in the Test series against West Indies.
