IPL 2025 Final: The final match of IPL 2025 will be played between Punjab Kings and Royals Challengers Bangalore this evening. Both teams have not won a single IPL trophy so far. Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has got the support of former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to win the IPL 2025 final. According to the Times of India report, Rishi Sunak has greeted RCB for the final against Punjab Kings.

Rishi Sunak, who visited India, had told that his association with RCB is family. He had told, “I got married in a family in Bengaluru, so RCB is my team.” Actually, he got the RCB jersey from the in -laws in his wedding and since then he has been following the team. He further explained, “We used to go to watch the match long ago. When I was in office, I still used to cheer for RCB in Downing Street.”

RCB is hoping to win its first IPL trophy and Sunak praised the team, especially star batsman Virat Kohli. He said, “He is a great player.” He showed a bat signed by Kohli, saying, he was gifted by India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar while holding office.

However, Sunak is not only dependent on Kohli. He hopes that the English players of the team will also play a big role. He said, “Phil Salat, Liam Livingstone, I really hope that they will make a big contribution in the finals.”

In addition to being a personal fan, Sunak appreciated IPL’s far -reaching impact on global cricket. He said, “IPL has revolutionized the game. Today every professional cricketer wants to be a part of it.” He gave the example of England’s Jacob Bethel, whose recent performance against the West Indies he partially linked with his IPL performance. He said, “This has made a lot of difference to the players in the house.”
