Red 2 Movie Review: Ajay Devgan’s average film wandering in red shadow

Red 2 is designed to take advantage of the success of the red just and only because nothing new is new, unique or entertaining in Red 2 that can tie the audience. Director Rajkumar Gupta’s Red surprised the audience due to his unique content, but Red 2 had nothing to show. Even he could not repeat himself properly and failed to entertain the audience.

Due to his honesty, this time on the target of Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgan), Dada Bhai (Ritesh Deshmukh), who has a lot of simplicity, is a very simple -like leader. Who spends all his time for public welfare. Sanskari so much that he washes his mother’s feet daily. Amay kills Dada Bhai, but nothing is found from home, office, form house and in this affair, Amay gets suspended.

From outside the office, Amay creates such a chakravyuh that all the black money and black exploits of Dada Bhai come in front of the world.

Talking about the story of the film, it is very simple. Corrupt leaders and honest officers are face to face, this is a thick thing, but the necessary bustle in the story of corrupt is absent in the story.

The screenplay of the film is completely flat. There is no necessary ups and downs in it. Is not thrill. The way Amay tries to get the mask of Dada Bhai, there is no cleanliness and adventure. The scenes are not written in such a good way. Amay and Dada Bhai’s face-to-face scenes are breathless, so there is a lack of entertainment in the entire film.

The film is very cumbersome. The film has been started by showing Amay’s red, but could not become the matter. Then some scenes have been coined about his family, he is very boring. The audience has just tried to shocking the audience to seek Amay’s bribe.

The film is bored till the interval. A little adventure comes in second half, but soon the film derains. Clever grandfather brothers make mistakes like children and are caught, it does not freeze the audience. Climax is also flat.

On the one hand, the author of the film avoids melodrama while keeping the film closer to reality, on the other hand, Dada Bhai’s mother’s feet wash the feet of the mother and the 80s films, like the films of the 80s, are unable to set the tone of the film like Villain’s Hot Song on the hot song.

Saurabh has tried to connect the film with the first part by keeping Saurabh Shukla, but the lack of strong character of Saurabh is felt in Red 2. The best way Saurabh played his role, he could not do the work. Nor do their character have as many colors.

Ritesh Shah, Rajkumar Gupta, Jaideep Yadav and Karan Vyas, four people have written story-screenplay-dialogues together, but if some dialogues are left, nothing solid and entertaining came out of the writing department.

Rajkumar Gupta’s work as a director is average. He could not bring any kind of tightness in the story scattered on his behalf.

Ajay Devgan is seen alike in every film these days. No matter what the character is, there is no change in facial expressions. There is no range in his acting in Red 2. The work of Ritesh Deshmukh is also average. His role is powerful, but the same thing cannot be done for his acting.

Ajay’s wife Ileana D’Cruz was in the Red, here she has changed and Vani Kapoor has replaced her. There is no improvement in speech either.

Saurabh Shukla leaves a profound effect in a small role. Amit Sial also has some similar work. There are also talented artists like Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Yashpal Sharma and Brijendra Kala, who did not get much opportunity to scatter their brightness. Tamannaah Bhatia is seen in the item song these days. Jacqueline Fernandes has got the same work in this film.

Amit Trivedi’s background music is excellent, but cinematography and editing average.

Overall, ‘Red 2’ is a half -hearted film lost in the shadow of the first film with neither thrill, nor conflict, nor the weight of content.
