A special screening of Bollywood’s evergreen actress Rekha’s superhit film ‘Umrao Jaan’ was held in Mumbai. The film has been re -released in theaters after 27 years. In the special screening of this film, Rekha once again appeared in the avatar of her Umrao Jaan.

Rekha won the hearts of the people once again with a white silk saree, gajra and her same manner. Seeing this royal look, everyone was mesmerized.

Along with Rekha, Muzaffar Ali, director of the film Umrao Jaan, was also present at the screening. Reminding her familiar character Umrao Jaan in Rekha film, she became a center of attraction in the traditional white dress with golden embroidery and made a lot of headlines.

At this special screening, Alia Bhatt again brought the ‘Chandni’ look of Rekha’s film Silsila to the Mahfil. Alia refreshed the memories of the eighties in a pink saree, soft makeup and attractive smile.

The 2006 edition starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was not very much liked by the audience. Both films are based on Mirza Hadi Ruswa’s novel Umrao Jaan Ada.
