Reliance set an investment target of 75 thousand crores for northeastern states

Reliance Industries will invest in Northeast States: Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, has targeted to increase his investment in Northeast States to 75 thousand crores. Mukesh Ambani was speaking at the ongoing ‘Rising Northeast Investors Summit’ in Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. 25 lakh new jobs will be available: Ambani said that this proposed investment will create more than 25 lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities. Mukesh Ambani also expressed his commitment to set up 350 biogas plants in the states. Referring to Jio, Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance Jio’s 5G network has reached about 90 percent of the northeastern states. 5 million people are connected to the Jio 5G network and this year the number will double. To increase the income of farmers, Reliance Retail will encourage direct purchases from them. 150 -bed cancer hospital established in Manipur: Highlighting the works of Reliance Foundation in the health sector, he said that Reliance Foundation has set up a 150 -bed cancer hospital in Manipur. Along with this, Foundation is collaborating with the University of Mizoram to take care of breast cancer using genomic data. The Foundation in Guwahati has created an advanced molecular diagnostic and research laboratory. It will be equipped with the largest genome sequence capabilities in India. In the north-east states, Reliance Foundation will set up Olympic training centers with all 8 states from which the youth will be able to become a medalist in the Olympics.
