Roads submerged in Alwar, Rajasthan, water in houses: 4 places in Himachal

Monsoon rains continue in most parts of the country. In Alwar, Rajasthan, the roads were flooded by two feet on Monday due to heavy rains.

There are flood-like conditions in Ganga-Yamuna in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The ghat is flooded up to 500 meters further.

In Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, there was heavy damage due to cloudburst on Monday night. So far 4 people have died due to floods and landslides, 16 people are missing. 10 houses have been damaged.

Pauri-Meerut National Highway was closed due to landslide near Satpuli on Kotdwar-Badrinath road on Monday in Uttarakhand. The Yamunotri highway has been closed due to landslide in Uttarkashi.

A wall of soil collapsed due to rain in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. A 15 -year -old child died in the debris, while an 8 -year -old child was seriously injured. The villagers rescued the injured and rushed him to the hospital. The incident is from Ahir Gotia village of Faridpur police station.

On the incidents of cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said- Tourists are requested to avoid going near rivers, drains or high mountains. They have no danger in urban areas. Landslide incidents are taking place in the inner areas of the state. In such a situation, avoid going to those areas.

There are flood -like conditions in Balasore district of Odisha. Officials said that the districts and houses have been flooded in about 100 villages. The water level of the Swarnarekha river has increased due to heavy rains in the area and the water released by Jharkhand. This has flooded Bhogri, Balliabal, Jaleswar and Basta blocks.
