Prior to T20 World Cup 2026, Robin Uthappa has given interesting opinion about some uncapulated Indian players. Three players who performed brilliantly in IPL 2025 have been described as a place in the possible list of the World Cup. The special thing is that a 14 -year -old batsman is also included in this list, who surprised everyone by playing a record -breaking innings in the IPL.

Former Indian batsman Robin Uthappa has mentioned the names of three unaccounted Indian players for the T20 World Cup 2026, which he said that they will be on the radar of the selectors. Uthappa was talking to NDTV, where he was present at the launch event of Australia Cricket Summer 2025-26. Meanwhile, he mentioned these names.

Among the players whose name Uthappa took the name, the 14 -year -old opener of Rajasthan Royals is Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He scored a historic innings of 101 runs in 38 balls against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025, which made him the youngest Centurion of the tournament. Vaibhav scored a total of 252 runs at a strike rate of 206.55 in the season and emerged as the only positive despite his team’s poor season.

The second and third players are Priyans Arya and Prabhasimran Singh of Punjab Kings. Both played strong opening partnerships for the team. Priyesh Arya scored 475 runs, with his strike rate to be 179.24 and he also scored a brilliant century. At the same time, Prabhasimran Singh scored 549 runs at a strike rate of 160.52, including four half -century.

Uthappa said, “Priyesh Arya, Prabhasimran Singh and Vaibhav Suryavanshi will definitely be in the race of the World Cup Squad. Now the remaining T20 series is a chance to prove themselves for these players.” He also said that existing contenders like Shubman Gill, Sai Sudarshan, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson are already in line, so it will not be easy to make a place in the squad.

Robin Uthappa believes that fitness will be a big factor this time, as the selectors would like to take a fit squad for the World Cup. Now it has to be seen to what extent these young players are able to affect their performance in the coming months.
