38 -year -old Rohit Sharma passed through a fitness evaluation implemented by the BCCI earlier this month. Some cricket pundits believed that this test has been brought so that Rohit Sharma could not pass it but Rohit not only passed the test, but also surprised everyone with his performance.

The evaluation also included a widely used Yo-Yo test, which remains a standard criteria for measuring the fitness level of Indian cricketers. According to media reports, all the players undergoing fitness tests on August 30 and 31 were successful in this. The report also reported that Rohit’s physical structure and performance were affected during the Test at the Center of Excellence in Bangalore. Meanwhile, the famous Krishna also drawn everyone’s meditation by scoring good marks in the evaluation.

Rohit is expected to play in India’s upcoming ODI series in Australia on 19, 23 and 25 October, but is still uncertain whether he will represent India A in three ODIs against Australia A in Kanpur on 30 September, 3 October and 5 October. This experienced opener has already said goodbye to his career in T20 International and Tests.

After giving India a T20 World Cup title in June 2024, he retired from the shortest format internationally. Nearly a year later, he also announced his retirement from the Test. Now Rohit only represents India in ODIs and his eyes are on the 2027 ODI World Cup.
