Mining and Panchayat Minister Krishnalal Panwar arrived in Rohtak, Haryana on Thursday to attend the meeting of the Grievance Committee. He became angry over the absence of two officers in the meeting and said, I have 40 years of experience, I know every department deeply. In the first meeting I give a warning, in the second I will suspend. I want the attendance of the department head and resolution of public complaints. When Chief Minister Nayab Saini can hear complaints till 12 o’clock in the night, I am asking you to come during the day. Panwar instructed DC Dhirendra Khadgata to give notice to the absent DFSC and DFO.
At around 11 in the morning, the Mining and Panchayat Minister reached the meeting of the District Grievance Committee. Heard 13 complaints included on the agenda, out of which eight were resolved. After the meeting, the minister asked the officers of every department for their introduction. After this he said, DFSC and DFO did not come. An employee told that an officer has an online hearing in the court. That’s why he sent me. The minister asked, did he take permission from DC? This time the employee could not answer, said that only the officers can tell this. The minister said, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dharmendra Singh had to go to Gurugram for other duty. They have gone after asking me. Henceforth, no top officer will be absent from the Grievance Committee meeting without notice. Inform me or take permission from DC.
While talking to the media after the meeting, the Mining and Panchayat Minister said that Congress is not able to save its defeat in the assembly elections. Congress is seeing EVM even in its dreams. The Chief Minister had said even before the election results came that if Congress lost, they would blame the defeat on EVMs. This is what happened. Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda could not make himself the leader of the opposition in the assembly.
Along with Mining and Panchayat Minister Krishnalal Panwar, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Ramchandra Jangra, Congress MLAs Bharat Bhushan Batra, Shakuntala Khatak and Balram Dangi also reached the meeting of the Grievance Committee. Apart from this, former BJP Mayor Manmohan Goyal, former Women Commission Chairperson Pratibha Suman and other BJP leaders were also present.
