Russia attacked Ukraine with ICBM missile for the first time
Moscow. Russia on Thursday used its first intercontinental ballistic missile against Ukraine, marking a new turn in the war. The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia launched this missile attack on the city of Dnipro early in the morning. This is the first time Russia has used this type of weapon, marking the beginning of a more dangerous phase of the war.
Ukrainian officials confirmed that the missile attack was in response to attacks on Russia by long-range missiles obtained from Western countries. The conflict between Ukraine and Russia has escalated over the past few months, and this attack represents a new strategic edge.
This step of Russia is an alarm bell not only for Ukraine but for the entire world. Intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) were previously used only in the event of nuclear war, and have long-range targets. After this attack, Ukraine has also demanded more military assistance from Western countries, so that it can face Russia’s attacks.
