Russia-India and China are going to do big work, Russian Foreign Minister made a statement
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov
Moscow: Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov has once again made a big statement regarding the relations between Russia-India and China. Lavrov, citing signs of reforms in relations between India and China, hoped that Russia-India-China Tripartial talks would start soon. The RIC tripartite talks have been postponed since a confrontation between the forces of India and China in the year 2020.
‘RIC will start its work soon’
Speaking at the annual meeting of international relations of 40 countries including India and the annual meeting of world economy experts, Lavarov said that our meetings were staying for some time, due to the first epidemic and later due to tension on the Indo-China border. The situation is getting better and we hope that RIC will start its work soon.
Learn about Ric?
RIC was established several years ago on the initiative of former Russian Prime Minister Yevgeni Prima Kov. Lavarov had earlier said that this group has so far held more than 20 ministerial meetings not only at the level of foreign ministers, but also at the level of other economic, business and financial agencies of the three countries.

‘NATO is plotting’
Let me tell you that earlier Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov had said that it has become an understanding on how to make the situation on the border easier between India and China. He had said that the time has come to activate Ric again. He also said that NATO is trying to implicate India in anti -China conspiracy.
The meeting was held between PM Modi and Jinping
Significantly, RIC’s conversation had stopped since the struggle between India and China in June 2020 in the Galwan Valley. This was followed by a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping during the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia in October 2024, in which the two leaders emphasized the need to improve mutual relationship. After the meeting of PM Modi and Jinping, there is a change in relations between India and China. (Language)
