Russia ukraine war: The next day of Ukraine’s major drone attack on Russia on 01 June, the pre -determined bilateral dialogue between the two countries lasted for a long time. During this period, Vladimir Meinsky, head of the Russian delegation, has released his statement literally after the second round of Russia-Ukraine direct talks in Istanbul. Russia has submitted a list of its terms to Turkey, intercepting both sides. Let us tell you what conditions Russia has laid and will Ukraine consider it?

Vladimir Meinsky

  • We have handed over our two-part memorandum to the Turkish side.
  • The first part is related to measures to achieve a durable and permanent peace.
  • The second part outlines the steps to make a real ceasefire possible.
  • The Ukrainian side has taken it for further review. They will study this and tell us what they think about it, and then we will move forward on it.
  • Additionally, we have resolved many practical issues. Firstly, we will unilaterally hand over the bodies of 6,000 frozen soldiers of Ukraine to the Ukrainian side. Next week, we will return these bodies to Ukraine. So that they can be given a final farewell.

What is all compromise in exchange for everyone?

We have agreed to exchange the biggest prisoner ever. All seriously injured and seriously sick soldiers will be swapped on the basis of ‘all instead of all’. This is a human step from our side. The same method – instead of everyone – all – will also be adopted for young soldiers under the age of 25. Overall, at least 1,000 people will be exchanged from each side, possibly more than that. These figures are being finalized.

Medical Commission will be made in Russia-Ukraine

“We have agreed to the formation of permanent medical commissions, which will prepare reports of seriously injured soldiers.” So that a list of exchange can be prepared without waiting for major political decisions. These exchange will be part of the regular process.

These areas will have a short -term ceasefire

“We have proposed a short -term ceasefire for two to three days in the border areas for two to three days. Our military experts will work in coordination with the Ukrainian side on this. The Russian army is moving forward and the number of bodies of Ukrainian soldiers in the gray zone is quite high. For this reason, we have proposed to gather the bodies of their dead soldiers at the same place immediately and to hand over them to the rival side for funeral as per Christian traditions. We have informed them about this proposal. Ukrainian military officials have promised early review.

Big decision on children

Meinsky said, I want to say something about children, because they are very important for us. Recently we heard that “1.5 million Ukrainian children were abducted by Russians.” Then this number is being reduced to “2 lakh” and now the official figure “20,000 children”. We have constantly sought evidence. Tell us who these children are, give some documents, show the missing report lodged by their parents. Who are these children? They are not in any list. We are given only figures, no evidence.

What is the truth of Ukraine 2 million missing children?

Meinsky said, now we have finally received a complete list. As you can see, it is neither 1.5 million nor 20,000. It has a total of 339 names. We will investigate each case. We have recently reviewed every request. The office of the Commissioner of Child Rights has introduced 101 children to their families. 22 children have returned from Ukraine and have joined their families again. Our children also sometimes get trapped in the middle of the battlefield and lose contact with their families.

Ukraine played “Children’s Game” for Europe’s sympathy

“This list of 339 names underlines the fact that the kidnapping of children has been made a media show by Ukrainian authorities to attain the sympathy of the European people,” Meinsky said. In fact, it is only about dozens of children. Neither of these children has been kidnapped – not even one. These are the children whom our soldiers – many times at the cost of their lives – from the battlefield and brought them to a safe place. We are looking for their parents. If parents meet, children are returned. Every child will meet his parents. All families on both sides will be reconciled. We are working on it. This is a matter of respect for us.
