Kievah Russia carried out a deadly attack on Ukraine’s capital Kiev on Wednesday night with missiles and drones. At least 6 people died in this attack, including a 6 -year -old child. Ukrainian officials gave this information on Thursday. Timur Takchenko, head of Kiev City Military Administration, said that at least 52 people have been injured and this number could increase.
People buried in debris
Timur Takchenko said that a large part of a nine -storey residential building has collapsed in the attack. Relief and rescue teams have reached the spot and are trying to evacuate people trapped under the rubble. Ukraine President Volodimir Zelanski wrote on his official Telegram channel, “Missile attack. Directly on the residential building. People are buried in the rubble. All services are on the spot.”
Attack in 27 places
According to Takchenko, Russia targeted at least 27 places of Barkeev in this attack, of which the most damage has been in the districts of Solaomianski and Swiatoshinski. The photographs from the scene saw that the smoke is being pushed from the partially damaged building and the debris is scattered all around.
America has given a new warning to Russia
Russia carried out the attack on Ukraine at a time when US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he was giving more time till August 8 to progress to Russian President Vladimir Putin for progress in peace efforts. Even if he does not decide on the ceasefire till then, then the US will implement strict sanctions and tariffs. Western leaders have accused Putin of deliberately delaying US-led peace talks to capture more parts of Ukraine. (AP)
