Moscow: Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar met Dennis Manturov, the first Deputy Prime Minister of Russia on Wednesday during his visit to Russia. Jaishankar held a highly fruitful meeting of the 26th India-Russia Inter-Government Commission (IRIGC-Tea) in co-head-headed with Manturov. S Jaishankar told through a post that business, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation was discussed in this meeting.
There will be a deep partnership between India and Russia
Jaishankar wrote in his post, “We discussed our cooperation in broad areas including business and economic sector, agriculture, energy, industry, skill development, dynamics, education and culture. In this meeting between complex geopolitical situation, we made many important suggestions to make IRIGC-TEC a more effective curable to deepen our economic partnership.”

- The need for creative and innovative approach.
- Continuous diversification and expansion of our agenda through mutual advice.
- Setting measured goals and fixed deadline. So that we can challenge ourselves to get more and move beyond the possibly targets.
- To organize at least two inter-session meetings between IRIGC sessions. Also doing a virtual medieval review with all co-heads.
- Establish a coordination mechanism between the business platform and various working groups of the IRIGC-TeC, so that bi-directional dialogue can be ensured. Jayashankar further wrote, “As we are preparing for the annual leader summit, we are confident that today’s Irigc-TeC meeting will further strengthen the results of time-deferred India-Russia partnership.”

I appreciate the assessment and reports of various regional leaders about the deep possibilities of our economic relations.
