Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has tremendous fan following worldwide. He has worked in many superhit films so far in his career. But do you know that Salman dreamed of becoming a director, not an actor. He revealed this during an interview.
Salman Khan had said, I started modeling at the age of 15. At the same time, I was working as writing and assistant for two directors along with completing my studies.
Salman Khan said while talking about his journey from his dreams of becoming a director to becoming an actor, when I was 16 years old, I showed a script to different people, but he said that I am very young to become a director and he suggested that I should act.
This series continued until I turned 18. In those days, even though the budget of films was not so big, directing the film was a big responsibility and a lot of money was required for it.
People did not believe me that I could become a director. Therefore, I thought of becoming an actor because then at least I will be able to meet the same people. I got a mixed reaction on this decision- some said that I was very small or very big for some rolls and during this time I got a chance to work in “Biwi Ho To Aisi”.
