All three children left the note at home

During the preliminary investigation, the police found a handwritten note from the house of one of the missing children, mentioning their intention to meet a person named Wahid of Jalna. In the footage of CCTV cameras installed near their houses, the boys were seen going towards Ajmeri Gate, which is estimated that they would have boarded a train from New Delhi railway station. After examining the railway route, the police suspected that the boys boarded the Sachkhand Express going to Maharashtra. Along with this, Delhi Police coordinated with the railway police and its counterparts in Jalna and sent teams to many possible places. No clue was found in the search of Wahid’s house in Jalna, however, a slight activity over the phone of one of the boys helped the police to find out their location in Nashik.
