According to Vicky Lalwani’s report, Sharmin gave birth to her child on 28 May. Sharmin tied the knot in Italy with Aman Mehta, executive director of Torrent Pharmaceuticals on November 2023. It was a private ceremony, in which only members of Sharmin and Aman’s family and close friends attended. After marriage, Sharmin shifted to Ahmedabad with Aman. However, she came to Mumbai only a few days ago.

Talking about the work front, Sharmin Sehgal was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the Netflix series ‘Hiramandi’, which was premiered in May 2024. He played the lead role of Alamzeb in the period drama series, for which he received mixed response. Only after the success of the series, Sanjay Leela Bhansali also announced its second season, although no other update related to it has been revealed so far.

Sharmin made his Bollywood debut in ‘Malal’ in 2019, which was made under Sanjay Leela Bhansali Production and the film featured his co-star Mejan Jaffrey. Earlier, he worked as an assistant director with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in a project like ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
