Jos buttler: Sanjeev Goenka, owner of IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants, has played a big bet. Let me tell you, before IPL 2026, Goenka has played a big claim and has included England explosive batsman Jos Buttler in his team by paying a hefty amount. Butler has now become part of the LSG team. Let us tell you in detail about this… ..

In fact, Sanjeev Goenka, who owns Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League, has now included England explosive batsman Jos Buttler in his team to further strengthen its team Durban Super Giants in South Africa’s T20 League SA20. In this context, Butler has now become a part of the LSG franchise network, even if it is not an IPL but it is the SA20 league.

Let us tell you, Durban Super Giants have included Jose Butler in the team under “Pre-Singing” for the 2025-26 season. With this announcement, the team has also announced to link West Indies veteran all -rounder Sunil Naren with them.

Great performance for Parl Royals

In the SA20 League, Jos Buttler used to play for Parl Royals earlier. This team is the SA20 franchise of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) of the IPL. Butler did well for this team and played brilliant innings in many matches. In the 2024 season, Butler scored 408 runs with a brilliant performance, with his average of 40.80 and the strike rate was 143.66.

Along with this, he was also the player of the most runs of the team this season. Due to his strong performance, Parl Royals traveled to the semi -finals. But Butler was not available in SA20 in the 2025 season. And now he has changed the team and joined the Durban Super Giants.

Could not sign in IPL 2025

It is worth noting that Sanjeev Goenka’s Lucknow Super Giants franchise had also tried its best to include Jos Buttler in the IPL 2025 auction. But at that time, Gujarat Titans had bought Butler for ₹ 15.75 crore and won. After not being found in the IPL, now Sanjeev Goenka has planned to capitalize on his batting talent by bringing Jose Butler to his second big franchise Durban Super Giants.
