Baramulla, 08 November (HS). Two terrorists were killed in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Sagipora area of Sopore in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. A top police officer gave this information.
The police officer said that on Thursday late evening, on specific information, a joint team of police and army cordoned off the Sagipora area of Sopore and started searching for the terrorists. During this, there was firing for some time between the terrorists and the security forces. After some time the terrorists stopped firing. After this the operation was stopped by security forces. The campaign was started again this morning. The terrorists opened fire once again. After this the encounter started. Two terrorists were killed in the encounter. The operation against terrorists is going on in the area.
