Share Market Closing 4 July, 2025: On the last day of the week, the Indian stock market saw tremendous fluctuations. Today the market started trading in green mark with an edge. However, after about 2 hours the market fell into the red mark and the decline kept increasing. However, at around 2.30 pm, the market suddenly bounced back and concluded the business in the green mark. On Friday, the BSE Sensex closed at 83,432.89 points with a gain of 193.42 points (0.23%). Similarly, NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed at 25,461.00 points with a gain of 55.70 points (0.22%).

Tata Group’s Trent 12 percent declined by 12 percent

On the last day of the week, on Friday, 20 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in green mark, while the remaining 10 companies closed with a decline in red mark. Similarly, 31 out of 50 of Nifty 50 came to a green mark with shares of 50 and the shares of all the remaining 19 companies closed in red mark. Today, Bajaj Finance’s shares, one of the Sensex companies, closed down to 1.60 percent, while Tata Group’s Trent’s shares closed down 11.93 percent today.

In other companies of Sensex today, Infosys shares 1.38 percent, Hindustan Unilever 1.19 percent, ICICI Bank 1.14 percent, HCL Tech 0.92 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.81 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.68 percent, SBI 0.59 percent, TCS 0.57 percent, Reliance Industries Industries Industries Industry 0.56 percent, HDFC Bank closed with a rise of 0.38 percent, L&T 0.35 percent, BEL 0.33 percent, NTPC 0.21 percent, Eaterial 0.21 percent, Titan 0.17 percent, Powergrid 0.14 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.05 percent and Bharti Airtel’s stocks closed with gains 0.05 percent.

These shares decline including Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra

While Tata Steel shares were 1.72 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.13 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.87 percent, Adani Ports 0.42 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.34 percent, ITC 0.24 percent, Asian Paints 0.23 percent, Tata Motors 0.23 percent, Tata Motors 0.21 percent and Sunforma shares declined by 0.07 percent.
