Share Market Closing 21st May, 2025: On Wednesday, the stock market closed in green mark with an increase. Earlier, the market had seen a decline of 3 consecutive days. Today the BSE Sensex closed at 81,596.63 points with a gain of 410.19 points (0.51%). Similarly, NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed at 24,813.45 points with a gain of 129.55 points (0.52%). Let us tell you that during the business today, the Sensex had reached 82,021.64 points and the Nifty reached 24,946.20 points, after which it started declining once again.

On Wednesday, 24 out of 30 companies of the Sensex closed in green mark with an increase and the shares of the remaining 6 companies closed in red mark with losses. On the other hand, today the shares of 37 out of 50 of Nifty 50 closed in green mark and the remaining 13 companies closed with a decline in red mark. Today, Bajaj Finserv’s shares involved in the Sensex companies shut down by 2.02 percent, while IndusInd Bank shares closed down by 1.87 percent.

On the other hand, on Wednesday, Kotak Mahindra Bank shares closed down 0.77 percent, Powergrid 0.65 percent, ITC 0.55 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.42 percent and Maruti Suzuki’s shares closed down 0.17 percent.
