Sensex crosses 83,200 amid flat trading, mild jump in Nifty, these shares gain

The domestic stock market made a flat start in the last trading session of the week amid global signals. The BSE Sensex was trading at the level of 83,291.32 with a gain of 51.85 points at 9.22 am. Similarly, NSE Nifty was also at a level of 25,422.90 with a slight gain of 17.60 points. In the initial session, the Nifty FMCG recorded the highest growth of 0.4 percent. Nifty media recorded a growth of 0.5 percent and Nifty Realty 0.3 percent.



Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Infra and Nifty Pharma also recorded a slight increase in early trade. In addition, there was a slight decline in the Nifty Auto and Nifty Metal. Bank Nifty rose 70 points to 56,861. However, the Nifty midcap opened at 59,649 with a decline of 100 34 points or 0.06%.

Top gainer and top loser

In the initial session of business, Nifty was the most gained on Nifty, Bajaj Finance, Bharat Electronics, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finserv, Vipro, while Trent, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, M&M, IndusInd Bank declined. Realty, PSU Bank, FMCG saw purchases in sectors, while auto and metal declined. BSE midcap and smallcap index are currently doing flat business.

Investors are cautious

According to Bloomberg, the investors are waiting for the results of various business talks amidst the current ban on Donald Trump’s April tariff, which he stopped for 90 days to give time for talks. Stock records have reached high height as initial concerns have come down that the fees will push the US into recession. On Thursday, American job growth was higher than expectations and all speculation of interest rate cuts in July ended.

Asian stock markets decline

The stock markets as well as the equity index futures declined due to President Donald Trump’s re-increasing trade tension before the time limit to increase tariffs next week. Asian stock markets declined by 0.3%, with a decline of 1.3% in South Korean shares. Today, American markets will remain closed on the occasion of Independence Day.
