New Delhi. After three days of consolidation, there was a rise in the stock market on Friday and Sensex-Nifty closed after improving from the low level. Midcap and smallcap indices closed on gains in today’s trading. Metal, PSE, Infra and Realty indices closed on the rise while Auto and IT stocks remained under pressure.
At the end of trading, BSE Sensex based on 30 shares closed at 64,904.68 with a gain of 72.48 points or 0.11 percent. Whereas Nifty of National Stock Exchange closed at the level of 19425.35 with a gain of 30.05 points or 0.15 percent.
