In Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, a person lodged a police complaint against the company’s brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone and others when technical flaws came to light in their car. An official provided this information on Wednesday. The officer said that this case was registered at Mathura Gate police station in Bharatpur on the complaint of advocate Kirti Singh (50). Singh said in his complaint that he had bought Hyundai’s ‘Alkazar’ model from a dealership in Sonepat in Haryana in 2022 for Rs 23.97 lakh. He alleged in the complaint that as soon as he purchased the car, he started having serious technical flaws especially in ‘Excelleering’ etc. Singh alleged, ‘The car started vibrating, the difficulty in increasing the speed and the engine management system would have failed. Many times the lives of me and my family are in danger.
Engineering flaws found in car
According to Singh, when he contacted the dealership, he admitted that there is a problem due to manufacturing error from Hundai but only suggested temporary solutions. He said, “This problem continued again and again, causing financial, physical and mental troubles.” Singh also told that despite the lack of malfunction, he is repaying the car loan. According to the police, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have also been named in the complaint citing Hyundai’s brand ambassador. Singh alleged that the company and its dealers already knew about the malfunction but hid it, which is a case of fraud, criminal betrayal and conspiracy.
Police engaged in investigating the case
Police said that investigation of the case is going on by registering an FIR under the relevant sections of the law.
