Bollywood’s iconic superstar Shah Rukh Khan has allegedly received death threats through a phone call, following which Mumbai’s Bandra Police Station has registered a case against an unidentified person.
The person making the threat has been identified as Faizan, a resident of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, who has reportedly demanded Rs 50 lakh. In response to the threat, a special team of Mumbai Police has been sent to Raipur to conduct further investigation.
The case registered under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of the Indian Penal Code raises serious concerns. At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the threat. Shahrukh Khan has not commented on the situation yet.
The incident highlights the security issues faced by prominent public figures and the measures taken by law enforcement to deal with such threats.
