Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given a big statement about the recent ceasefire with India. He hoped that this ceasefire would remain for a long time. Shahbaz Sharif, who shouted rust-jungs till a few days ago, has been hurt by Operation Sindoor so much that he is now feeling good ceasefire. Shahbaz has justified US President Donald Trump, saying that on the foundation of this ceasefire, both countries can move forward on the path of investment, trade and progress. Sharif also informed about progress in raising tariffs with the US and increasing business.

What did Shahbaz Sharif say?

Shahbaz Sharif said in his statement, ‘Alhamdulillah has become a ceasefire. I hope and pray to the above that this ceasefire will remain for a long time, on which we will be able to build a luxurious building of investment, business and progress. He said that Pakistan and America are talking on the issue of tariffs, which has made ‘spectacular progress’. Sharif also said, ‘We are also in touch with America to increase mutual business. Under this, we will move forward on IT sector, their energy imports, agriculture, health and all other issues from them.

‘For us like fresh blows of wind’

Shahbaz Sharif praised US President Donald Trump’s vision, saying, ‘I am very inspired by the vision of President Trump. Their vision is to rationalize trade, investment and tariffs, which is like a fresh gust for us. The statement came after a ceasefire between India and Pakistan on 10 May 2025, which was possible with a direct interaction between the military commanders (DGMO) of the two countries after a 4 -day tension. Trump has been trying to take credit for this ceasefire, but India has clarified that the ceasefire did not have any third party mediation, and this was the result of a completely bilateral conversation.
