Danish Kaneria revealed in an interview, “My career was going well. I was playing for Pakistan as well as county cricket. But players like Shahid Afridi (Shahid Afridi) used to harass me. He did not eat food with me and pressurize me to adopt Islam.”
Kaneria, who took 360 wickets in 61 Tests for Pakistan and is Pakistan’s fourth most successful bowler in Test cricket, stated that he faced religious discrimination within the team. He said that PCB also did not support him as he was a Hindu.

He also said that he considers Sanatan Dharma as paramount and will continue to raise voice against the Hindu community. “My Sanatan Dharma is at the top of me for me. I am not saying anything wrong, just telling the truth. There are many cases in Pakistan which did not even report. I will always fight for my Hindu community.”
