Recently, the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) was played between Australia and South Africa in 2025 on this ground, in which more than 100,000 spectators participated.

Talking about the recent Lord’s Test between India and England, the hosts managed to win the match in the last hour of the fifth day. The visiting team had a target of 193 runs to win the match, but chasing this target, the Indian team scored at one time to 112/8.
