Former Australian all -rounder Shane Watson has made a major prediction before the playoff matches of IPL 2025. Watson believes that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team is going to win the IPL 2025 title this season. Former RCB cricketer Watson himself claimed that franchise veteran Virat Kohli would win the ‘Player of the Match’ award in the final.
Cricketer-turned-commentator Watson believes that the return of Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood for the playoff will strengthen the current RCB line-up. RCB will start their playoffs journey with a match against Table-Toppers Punjab Kings in the first qualifier on 29 May.
Watson said, “The winner of IPL 2025 will be RCB and I had been thinking about it for a long time. For me, the man of the match is Virat Kohli, the great player. That’s why it is the right time for RCB. In the last phase of the tournament, he got some shocks, but coming back to Josh Hazlewood’s playoffs, I feel that it is right for him.”
