Share Bazaar banned boom, Sensex 694 points dropped, NIFTY also declined

Share market update news: The local stock market closed on Friday with a major decline after the 6 trading sessions of 6 trading sessions amid huge selling in shares of HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries. The Sensex declined by 694 points and the Nifty fell by 214 points. Sensex companies prominently declined in shares of Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Tata Steel, ITC, HCL Tech, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Adani Ports, Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank and Tech Mahindra.

The BSE’s 30 -share standard index Sensex fell 693.86 points, or 0.85 percent, to close at 81,306.85 points. At one time during trading, it fell 708.94 points to 81,291.77 points. The 50 -share standard index Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 213.65 points, or 0.85 percent to close at 24,870.10 points.

Sensex companies prominently declined in shares of Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Tata Steel, ITC, HCL Tech, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Adani Ports, Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank and Tech Mahindra. On the other hand Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti, Bharat Electronics and Sun Pharma closed with gains. (Language)
