Shefali Jariwala, popularly known as ‘Kanta Laga Girl’, died at her home in Andheri, Mumbai on the night of 27 June, 2025. Everyone is shocked by the news of the sudden demise of the actress. The cause of Shefali’s death has not been revealed yet. Mumbai Police officials had clarified on Saturday morning (28 June) that his body was sent to Cooper Hospital for post -mortem. Shefali wanted to adopt daughter because of this
In an old Padkast in Paras Chhabra, Shefali had said that she wants to adopt a daughter. But, later pollen Tyagi and his mind changed. He had said, ‘My economic situation was not good till a few years ago. Today I have everything … We can do our child any day, but I think there are many children in the world. These children need home. Love is needed. We are at such a place … when we can give them all that they will get happiness. Everyone loves your children, but by giving everything to someone else, you make them big. I would like to adopt a baby girl. Boys get home easily. I think a daughter has a different relationship with her parents. I have a beautiful relationship with my father and mother. I want to bring Lakshmi home. Boy or girl, child will make a place in my house and heart, which is why I had to adopt a daughter. The daughter understands the happiness and sorrow of the parents. You need your husband as well as family support to adopt a child.
Why Shefali Jariwala changed the decision
Shefali further said, ‘Why do you not have your own children? Somebody keeps asking this question. Pollen and I do not come from that kind of environment. It is my dream to adopt a daughter. The actress had revealed that the child has a long process to adopt. Also how is the family of legal action. It would take us many years to adopt the child … so we had to retreat with this decision even if we do not want to. Shefali had earlier married Meet Brothers composer Harmeet Singh from 2004 to 2009. In 2014, he married Parag Tyagi second.
