Yogi adityanath’s devotion to shiva: The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Gorakshpithadhishwar Yogi Adityanath (Yogi Adityanath) performed Rudrabhishek and Havan on the first day of Sawan on Friday morning. The Uttar Pradesh government issued a statement saying that after completing the ritual of Rudrabhishek, the Chief Minister prayed to Lord Shankar (Bhagvan Shankar) for the welfare of the pasture and happiness and prosperity of all citizens.

Rudrabhishek with many worship materials: Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek with water, milk and seasonal juice after offering many worship materials including Vilva Patra, Durva, Madar Patra, Kamal Pushp to Bholeshankar at Gorakhnath temple. The Acharyas and priests of the monastery concluded Rudrabhishek with Mahamantras. The Chief Minister wrote on the social media forum ‘X’, ‘On the auspicious occasion of the first day of the month of Shravan, the beloved of Devadhidev Mahadev, in the Gorakhnath temple today, Rudrabhishek by law and wished for the happiness, prosperity and welfare of all the people. On the first day of Sawan, a crowd of devotees gathered in the Shiva temples of Kashi since morning. Devotees are being seen in a systematic manner in the Kashi Vishwanath temple. In view of the month of Sawan, the Varanasi police has made extensive security arrangements.

Pushpasha was performed on devotees in front of the temple of Baikuntheshwar: The Kashi Vishwanath Temple administration said that on the first day of Sawan, devotees were performed in front of the temple of Lord Vishwanath, Dandapani and Lord Baikuntheshwar located in the temple premises. Mandalayukta S. Rajalingam also showered flowers on the devotees. Vishwabhushan Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, said that there will be no system of entire Sawan Sulabh Darshan or VIP philosophy. Police Commissioner Mohit Aggarwal said that better queue arrangements and guiding staff have been appointed to control the crowd of devotees in Sawan. Aggarwal said that the convenience of Kavadis has been taken care of. Kavadis will run in one lane from Prayagraj to Varanasi and there will be movement of other vehicles on the other lane. He said that in view of the rising water level of the Ganges, the operation of small boats has been banned, while the big boat operators have been instructed to wear life saving jackets. The police stations including water police, NDRF have also been instructed to be vigilant. (Language)
