According to the report of the news agency PTI, the ancient Kalp Kedar temple also got buried in the debris due to sudden floods. Built in the bitter architectural style, this temple was very similar to Kedarnath Dham and was discovered in 1945 during a deep excavation. It was partly underground, where devotees used to get down several feet to worship. The report said that the water of the river flowing here naturally flowed towards the Shivling, whose size was like Nandi’s back, which was like the design of the sanctum sanctorum of the Kedarnath temple.
History of Kalpa Kedar
This temple dedicated to Mahadev Shivji is called ‘Kalpa Kedar Dham’ and has its own history. The style, texture of this temple is the same as the Kedarnath Dham and the way the history of Kedarnath Dham is that this temple was pressing in the snow for four hundred years, in the same way, due to the Kalpa Kedar temple, flood or any such disaster, either it was buried in the ground, or was lost in the land, or was lost and this temple was found in the excavation and since then it was a puja recitation in this temple.

According to the locals, most of the part of this temple was buried under the ground and people went down and went deep and worshiped God in the temple. In the sanctum sanctorum of this temple, where the Shivalinga was on the below ground in the temple, people had made a way to remove the surrounding soil and go inside the temple. It is said that since 1945, when the temple was seen in the excavation, it is estimated that these temples are one of the same 240 fashioned temple groups, which disappeared due to timely geographical changes. It is also claimed that this temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya.
