Tanveer ahmed shocking claim: Former Pakistan cricketer Tanveer Ahmed has made a shocking claim about the Cricket Control Board of India, ie BCCI, amid the current season of IPL 2025. He has alleged that most of the IPL teams are with the fixers.

Tanveer Ahmed, who has played in all three formats for Pakistan, further said that BCCI says that IPL is the largest league in the world, but the biggest fixing is also in this league.

Tanveer Ahmed wrote in his tweet, “BCCI says that our IPL league is the world’s largest league, yes it is, but the fixing here is also the biggest. Most of the teams are with fixers.”

This claim of Tanveer Ahmed came after a recent controversy, alleging match fixing during the current 2025 session on Rajasthan Royals.

Rajasthan Royals wrote a letter to BCCI after allegations of match fixing in IPL

Jayadeep Bihani, convenor of the Ed-Hawk Committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association, made allegations of match fuzzing against Rajasthan Royals after a minor defeat against Lucknow Super Giants in the current 2025 season.

RR needed nine runs to win in the last over and could not score as many runs, due to which Lucknow won by two runs. However, according to the Times of India report, a BCCI official dismissed the claims and said that RCA had been dissolved.

Following the allegations, RR also wrote a letter to the BCCI to emphasize that the allegations were levied only to give rise to the controversy. In which it was written, “The statements made by the convenor are without any evidence and only to promote unnecessary controversy. They weaken the game of not only Royals but also Royal Multi Sport Private Limited, Rajasthan Sports Council, BCCI and cricket.”

Let us know that Rajasthan Royals were banned from the league for two years in 2015 and they did not attend the 2016 and 2017 editions of the tournament. This ban was taken after the involvement of his key officials in betting activities during the 2013 edition.
