Shweta Tiwari made daughter Palak responsible like this: When spent more than the budget, utensils had to be washed.
Shweta Tiwari, a well-known actress of the TV world, is not only onscreen, but also in real life. Recently, he spoke openly in a podcast with his relationship with daughter Palak Tiwari and unique style of upbringing. During the conversation on famous comedian Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachia’s YouTube channel ‘Bharti TV’, Shweta said that her parenting was neither very strict nor completely loose.
Shweta said, “We are less mother-daughter, more friends. But like every friendship, there were some limitations in our relationship too.” He said that he never gave an open exemption to Palak, but some clear rules were set-especially about curfew and time ban. “If she has said that she will reach home at 1 o’clock, I mean at 1 o’clock at the door, not coming from the party at that time,” Shweta said smiling.
But this friendly relationship sometimes turned into ‘digital surveillance’. Shweta admitted that she used to track her phone in Palak’s teenage. She said, “I was afraid because she is a girl and the world is very strange. Even if she does not drink anything, but people around her can drink.”
Shweta also told that Palak had got her first mobile phone only after reaching college and she did not apply makeup till the age of 16. “She used to go to school function without makeup too,” Shweta remembered.
Another interesting revelation in this conversation was when Shweta explained her ways to make Palak a financial discipline. He said that Palak was given a fixed month (such as Rs 25,000). If she had spent more than the fixed amount, she had to make household chores and make up for it.
Shweta laughed and said, “If Palak spent Rs 30,000, she had to make up for the remaining 5,000, such as Rs 1,000 on cleaning the bathroom, Rs 500 on bed and Rs 1,000 for washing utensils. Palak used to keep some work many times in advance, so that the expenses can adjust when the expenses increase.”
Shweta Tiwari, who is known from door to door by playing the role of Prerna Sharma in Kasauti Zindagi Ki ‘, has seen many ups and downs in her career. She has also been the winner of ‘Bigg Boss season 4’. After this, he also performed strongly in shows like ‘Parvarish’, ‘Begusarai’ and ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’.
Shweta’s parenting story suggests that despite being a celebrity, she raised Palak in a normal but disciplined environment. All these things make their upbringing special.
