Singapore: The Indian youth has been arrested in Singapore on charges of molesting a female member of the cabin crew (crew) in the aircraft. The accused will be produced in the court on 22 April. According to the information, the woman informed the police at 12.5 pm on February 28. According to the police, preliminary investigation revealed that the woman cabin crew member was taking a female passenger towards the toilet, when she saw a piece of tissue paper on the ground. When he leaned to pick her up, the 20 -year -old accused followed him and forcibly entered the toilet.
Accused arrested as soon as he landed at the airport
The female passenger already present in the toilet rescued the female crew member and took her out of the toilet. The incident was reported to the cabin supervisor and the police arrested the accused as soon as the aircraft landed at Singapore’s Changi Airport. The police have not revealed the name of the airline concerned. A case has been registered against the accused under the section of ‘Use of Force with the intention of breach of dignity’.

Explain that molestation of a woman in Singapore is a crime for which imprisonment, fine, cane or any of the three punishment can be done. Commander Assistant Commissioner of Airport Police Division, M. Malathi strongly condemned the incident. He said that we take such incidents seriously because cabin crew are trained professionals who are dedicated to ensuring safety and goodness of all passengers. He said that the police airline staff and passengers aboard the aircraft are committed to protect them from any kind of sexual harassment or attack.
