New Delhi: Rohit Shetty’s Diwali 2024 film Singham Again was released in theatres on November 1, 2024. The film’s main attraction was the cast. From Ajay Devgn to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Singham Again’s multi-star cast gathered to make Rohit Shetty’s vision for his cop universe. Reimagining the epic Ramayana, the film aims to impart the there of good winning over evil.
Rohit Shetty reportedly spent a whopping Rs 250 crore on Singham Again, making it the highest budget for both Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s career. Keeping the Rs 250 crore budget in mind, here is what the Singham Again cast earned for their roles in the film.
Singham Again cast salary
As per a report by English Jagran, Ajay Devgn is the main cast member who kickstarted the entirety of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe with the 2011 movie Singham. Ajay Devgn earned a whopping Rs 35 crore for his role as Bajirao Singham. Following this, Akshay Kumar returned to his role as Sooryavanshi and was reportedly paid Rs 20 crore. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh portrayed the role of Simmba and charged Rs 10 crore.
With the main cops out of the way, coming to the new addition to the universe, Tiger Shroff is the youngest member of this police squad. Playing the role of ACP Satya, a devotee of Singham Tiger Shroff charged Rs 2 crore for his appearance. Next, is Deepika Padukone’s role as badass Lady Singham, Shakti, earned her Rs 6 crore. The big bad of the film, Arjun Kapoor’s role as the main villain reportedly earned him Rs 6 crore. Lastly, Kareena Kapoor Khan played the role of Avni, Singham’s wife, and was paid Rs 10 crore.
Out of the Rs 250 crore budget, nearly 90 crore was spent only on gathering and renumerating the cast. Combined with the large-scale filming and promotional material that preceded the film’s release, Singham Again did not become the ‘blockbuster’ it was anticipated to become. A week after its theatrical release, Simgham Again has minted Rs 173 crore in net Indian collection at the Box Office.
