Sl Vs Ban Day 2: Bangladesh once again batted brilliantly on the second day of the first Test between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The team scored 484/9 thanks to the fast innings of Mushfiqur Rahim (163), Najmul Hussain Shanto (148) and Litton Das (90). However, in the day affected by the rain, Bangladesh lost their last 5 wickets for just 26 runs, giving Sri Lanka a little hope of returning.

The second day of the Galle Test was also named after Bangladesh batsmen, where Mushfiqur Rahim played a memorable innings of 163 runs. Najmul Hussain Shanto scored 148 runs with him and was seen moving towards double century after the first day, but was dismissed for 148. Shanto started the day with a magnificent flick, causing Bangladesh to cross the 300 mark.

Litton Das also played a fast innings of 90 runs while playing in his style. Initially, he got two life -giving in the form of runouts and catch drops, which he took advantage of fiercely. He played three consecutive fours and Jayasuriya also played openly in the direction of mid-can and long-on.

After lunch, Rahim completed 150 with two fours while Litton also hit 64 balls. There was a partnership of 149 runs between the two, but then the rain stopped the game. When the game resumed after the break, Litton and Rahim again batted in attacking mode.

However, Rahim was dismissed on a close LBW and after that Bangladesh’s innings shattered. Litton was also dismissed for 90 runs. Milan Ratnayake and Tharindu made a brilliant comeback and took out the last 5 wickets of Bangladesh in just 26 runs. In this way, Bangladesh could reach the score of 484/9 on the second day.
