Sl Vs Ban Day 2: Bangladesh once again batted brilliantly on the second day of the first Test between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The team scored 484/9 thanks to the fast innings of Mushfiqur Rahim (163), Najmul Hussain Shanto (148) and Litton Das (90). However, in the day affected by the rain, Bangladesh lost their last 5 wickets for just 26 runs, giving Sri Lanka a little hope of returning.
The second day of the Galle Test was also named after Bangladesh batsmen, where Mushfiqur Rahim played a memorable innings of 163 runs. Najmul Hussain Shanto scored 148 runs with him and was seen moving towards double century after the first day, but was dismissed for 148. Milan Ratnayake and Tharindu made a brilliant comeback and took out the last 5 wickets of Bangladesh in just 26 runs. In this way, Bangladesh could reach the score of 484/9 on the second day.
