Sri Lankan veteran all -rounder Angelo Mathews has retired from his final match in Galle from Bangladesh in Test cricket. After the first Test affected by the rain against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka has now announced its team for the second Test. Angelo Mathews made his last Test played against Bangladesh in Galle. The match was drawn due to rain, but almost the entire game was in favor of Bangladesh. Sri Lanka will now definitely miss the lack of Mathews experience.

Dunith Vellalge and World Fernando have returned to the team for the second Test. Vellalge made a Test debut against Pakistan, although he could not take wickets in that match. Despite this, the selectors have expressed confidence in them. At the same time, fast bowler Vishwa Fernando is making a comeback with his experience. The Milan Ratnayake, who was injured during the bowling in the first Test, has been dropped. No new name has been added to the team in his place.
