The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved Phase-1B of Metro Rail Project in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The corridor of this phase will be 11.165 km long, including 7 underground and 5 elevated stations, ie there will be a total of 12 stations. After Phase-1 B starts, the metro network of Lucknow city will increase to a total of 34 km, which will provide better and convenient transport service to passengers. According to PIB, Lucknow Metro Phase-1B will strengthen the city’s infrastructure.
