Smriti Mandhana created panic in ICC ODI rankings, achieved the biggest place after 6 years
Smriti Mandhana ICC ODI Batting Rankings: International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest ICC women’s ODI batting rankings on Tuesday (June 17), in which the vice-captain and star batsman of the Indian women’s team has become the number 1 batsman. Mandhana has surpassed South Africa’s captain Laura Volvard, who has lost 19 rating points in the latest update.
In recent times, Mandhana has been in the top 10 in the ODI batter list, but for the first time after 2019, Mandhana has secured the number 1 batter position in the ICC ODI batting rankings.
Mandhana has a total of 727 rating points, followed by England captain Natalie Cyre-Brant with 719 points. Volwardant is now in third place with 719 points.
The rankings followed by Mandhana are the next two Indian hatters Jemima Rodrigues and captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who ranks 14th and 15th respectively.

Mandhana is currently in excellent form and he scored a century in the final of the Tri -series in Colombo against Sri Lanka and South Africa and contributed significantly in winning India. This was the 11th century of Mandhana’s ODI career and made his ranking better than Volvard. The Volvard had recently scored 27 and 28 runs in South Africa’s ODI matches against West Indies.
Mandhana is currently at number four in the women’s T20 International rankings.
