Why did Javed Akhtar’s first marriage break?

Recently, Javed Sahab made many revelations about his personal life in an interview in which he told that his first relationship spoiled due to his alcohol addiction. If I had not had the habit of drinking and had been a little more responsible, the story would have been different. This (alcohol addiction) is an important part of the breakdown of our marriage. After this, Javed Saheb praised his first wife and said – She is a wonderful person and that is why I have a lot of respect for her.

Talking about Javed Akhtar’s work front, he had recently written a song for Shahrukh Khan’s film Dunky, which was greatly loved by the audience. This song was ‘Nikle Thee Kabhi Hum Ghar Se’ which was sung by Sonu Nigam. The song became a superhit as soon as it was released.
