‘Some people do not agree to share power’, what they said in things DK Shivkumar

DK Shivkumar
Delhi: Congress leader DK Shivkumar, who was involved in a tussle with his boss Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, praised the Gandhi family in Delhi on Sunday and made some sharp comments on the top post in Karnataka. At the same time, he taunted CM Siddaramaiah and said that some people do not agree to share power. Speaking on the partition of power in politics in a program called “Constitutional Challenges” organized by the All India Congress Committee in Delhi, Shivkumar praised the Gandhi family and also said about his long tenure with the Congress and his efforts to bring the party to power in Karnataka.
Appreciated by Sonia Gandhi’s decision
DK Shivkumar appreciated Sonia Gandhi’s decision to refuse the post of Prime Minister in 2004 and talked about sharing power in politics. Describing it as a unique task of political sacrifice, he said, “When the President asked Sonia Gandhi to take oath of Prime Minister, he said,” Power is not important to me. ” He decided that a Sikh, a minority and an economist can save the country and they should become Prime Minister. “
Today someone renounces his small position
He said, “Has anyone renounced this in such a big democracy? Does anyone renounce their small position today? Even at the panchayat level, many people do not do so. Some MLAs and ministers share power, but some of us do not even agree to share power.” Although Shivkumar did not name anyone, his comment is considered in the backdrop of the continuous speculation of the power-sharing agreement between him and Siddaramaiah.
Let me tell you that CM Siddaramaiah recently put an end to such discussions and firmly said that there has been no agreement on power-shape and he will complete the entire five-year term as the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
