Sonia Gandhi has called a Congress meeting on 15 July.
New Delhi: Congress Parliamentary Party leader Sonia Gandhi has called an important meeting on 15 July to decide the party’s strategy for the monsoon session. This meeting will be held at his residence at 10 Janpath. According to sources, this meeting will include Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and big leaders of the party including Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha. Explain that in the monsoon session of Parliament, the opposition is going to try to surround the government on many issues.
Many important bills can be introduced in monsoon session
Let us know that the monsoon session will start from July 21 and will run till August 21. Earlier this session was about to end on August 12, but the government has extended it for a week. During this period, many important bills are expected to be introduced, including a law allowing the private sector to enter nuclear power. The Congress and other opposition parties are preparing to surround the government on several issues in this session. In particular, the opposition may strongly object to the decision of the Election Commission’s special voter list amendment in Bihar.
Opposition will surround the ruling party on ‘Operation Sindoor’!
After the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, the Indian Army’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ and the subsequent diplomatic efforts are also being demanded by the opposition. The opposition has also sought an answer on the claim of US President Donald Trump, in which he spoke of mediation in India-Pakistan stress. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear in a phone conversation with Trump last month that India neither accepts arbitration nor will do it in future.
Monsoon session expected to be uproar
This meeting of the Congress is being considered a big attempt to formulate a united and strong strategy of the opposition in the monsoon session. Party sources say that in this session, the opposition will monitor every step of the government and will raise issues related to public interest. Seeing the preparations for the Congress, it seems that the monsoon session of Parliament is also going to be ruckus. (PTI)
